Returns Policy

EasyDecoHome | Return Policy (Ver. 2.0 - Final Terms)

By completing a purchase with EasyDecoHome, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and expressly agree to all terms contained within this Return Policy. Failure to comply with these strict requirements will result in automatic forfeiture of refund rights.


1. Return Window & Authorization (Zero Tolerance)

  • Strict Deadline: The return window is 14 calendar days from the actual delivery date (per carrier tracking). Requests submitted on day 15 are void. No exceptions.

  • Mandatory Authorization: Returns are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from EasyDecoHome.

    • Unauthorized shipments will be REFUSED and PERMANENTLY ABANDONED. The sender will not receive a refund and remains responsible for all associated shipping costs.

    • Do not ship returns to the address on your packing slip or our website. The correct address will be provided ONLY upon authorization.


2. Shipping Damage, Incorrect Items, or Missing Parts

Submission Deadline: 7 calendar days from delivery.

  • Requirement: You must retain ALL original packaging, including boxes, Styrofoam, and wrapping. If the original outer box is discarded or destroyed prior to inspection, your claim is automatically denied.

  • Evidence: Clear, time-stamped photos or videos showing the issue, the product, and all sides of the outer packaging are required. Vague descriptions or "item not shown in photo" submissions will be rejected.

  • Remedy: If the claim is validated, EasyDecoHome will provide a replacement part or product. Cash refunds for damage or missing parts are issued only as a last resort at the sole discretion of EasyDecoHome.


3. Customer-Caused Delivery Failures (Address Errors / Missed Appointments)

This is the highest-risk area for customer costs.

If a delivery fails due to information provided by you (incorrect address, incomplete address, failure to answer door, missed scheduled appointment), the following terms apply:

  • Redelivery Fees:

    • First failed attempt: A fee of up to 20% of the total order value is deducted before redelivery is attempted. This fee covers our carrier penalties and administrative costs.

    • Second failed attempt: The package will be abandoned or returned to origin. No refund will be issued.

  • Return to Origin (RTO): If the package is returned to our warehouse in China due to your error:

    1. You forfeit the original outbound shipping cost.

    2. 30% restocking fee is deducted from the refund.

    3. The inbound return shipping cost (the cost for the item to travel back to China) will be deducted from the remaining balance.

    4. If the remaining balance is negative, you will be invoiced for the difference.

  • Storage Fees: Returned parcels are held for 14 days only. After this period, storage fees accrue at $5 per day. Items unclaimed after 30 days are considered abandoned and destroyed with no refund.


4. Change of Mind / Not Satisfied (Non-Defective Returns)

EasyDecoHome accepts change-of-mind returns under extremely limited conditions. Due to the nature of international furniture shipping, this is a high-cost service for the customer.

  • Deadline: Notification must be received within 14 calendar days of delivery.

  • Condition: The item must be unused, unassembled, sealed in original plastic, and in original packaging. If the box is opened, the item is considered "inspected." If the item is assembled, it is considered "used" and is FINAL SALE. No returns.

  • Refund Calculation (The "Vicious" Formula):
    If you proceed with a change-of-mind return, your refund is calculated as follows:

    Refund = (Item Price Paid) - (30% Restocking Fee) - (Original Outbound Shipping Cost) - (Actual Return Shipping Cost)

    Example: You paid $100 for an item + $40 shipping = $140 total.
    Refund = $100 - $30 (30%) - $40 (Outbound) - $80 (Return label cost) = -$50 (Negative).
    Result: You would owe EasyDecoHome $50 to process your "change of mind." If payment is not rendered, the case is closed with no refund.

  • Warning: Return shipping labels from Australia to China for furniture typically cost $150 - $600 USD. We strongly advise customers to measure their space and read dimensions carefully before purchasing.


5. Chargeback and Dispute Mitigation Clause

By purchasing from EasyDecoHome, you enter a binding agreement to the following:

  1. Exhaustion of Remedies: You agree that you will not initiate a credit card chargeback, PayPal dispute, or bank reversal until you have first contacted EasyDecoHome and allowed us 10 business days to resolve the issue.

  2. Waiver of Chargeback for Shipping Time: You explicitly agree that you will not file a dispute based on "item not received" until the full estimated delivery window (Processing Time + Shipping Time) has elapsed. Filing a dispute while the item is still within the shipping window constitutes bad faith.

  3. Evidence Submission: In the event of a dispute, EasyDecoHome reserves the right to provide your bank with this Return Policy, your checkout confirmation (evidencing your agreement), and tracking data.

  4. Liquidated Damages: If a customer files a fraudulent chargeback and wins temporarily, EasyDecoHome reserves the right to pursue the debt through third-party collections agencies, report the debt to credit bureaus, and pursue legal action for the full order amount plus administrative fees of $100.

  5. Permanent Blacklist: Customers who file chargebacks without cause will have their information permanently blacklisted and barred from future purchases.


6. Items That Are FINAL SALE (Non-Refundable)

The following items are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized items.

  • Items that have been assembled, installed, or modified in any way.

  • Items returned without original packaging.

  • Items returned after the 14-day window.

  • Items purchased during "Final Sale" or clearance events.

  • Items damaged due to customer assembly error.


7. Refund Processing & Forfeiture

  • Once a refund is approved (after all deductions), processing takes 2-4 business days.

  • If you are owed a refund but fail to provide valid bank details or a return shipping label within 30 days of notification, the refund is forfeited and the case is closed.
